Christopher Abreu,
Founder of VIP Hair Ink
Chris found his passion at the early age of 16 years old in a barber shop in Philadelphia. He was fascinated with the art of barbering and how easily it was to improve someone’s image with a few subtle touches.
Over the next four years, he worked relentlessly to master his craft and achieve one of his many life goals. By 20 years old Chris owned and managed his very first barber shop with six barbers, of which he coached three of them to learn the business aspect of the industry and assisted them in opening their own shops in the following years.
After having successfully operated the shop in Philly for three years, Chris decided to change up the scenery and opened a larger shop with 12 barbers at a prime location in South Jersey and continued his success in opening multiple other locations. Chris began his competitive career and was being recognized for his talents and earning many accolades at several of the Barber Expos up and down the east coast.
After having performed with the best of the best, Chris was ready for his next challenge. As he already mastered styling men’s hair, he began to research the art of SMP and how to utilize this technique to create an illusion.
In 2020, Chris traveled to NYC to become certified in Scalp Micropigmentation by Gerow Hair Ink. Following this certification, Chris continued his education and took an additional mastery class in Maryland with Mr. Herrera from The Art of SMP. It is Chris’ goal to assist every person interested in achieving their desired look and improving their self-image and confidence. Chris has grown a large referral business and has over 100+ satisfied clients since becoming certified. He looks forward to having the opportunity to provide his services on future clients.
VIP Hair Lounge
Before building VIP Hair Ink, Christopher built VIP Hair Lounge at age 24. At VIP Hair Lounge, Christopher helps people achieve their desired look with hair cuts, styles, and more. If you pass by, you might notice Chris with the lights on working until 1am. Chris also does eyebrows, beard cuts and styles, and more.
